RSVP Mission Statement
The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is dedicated to addressing community needs by matching the interests, experience, and talents of individuals age 55 and older with rewarding volunteer opportunities.

Program Overview
RSVP coordinates with approximately 25 nonprofit organizations in the community to provide volunteers with a wide variety of jobs which, in turn, helps those residents of our community in need.

A few of our volunteer positions include: tutoring elementary students in reading, delivering hot and nutritious meals to the home-bound, packing food orders, grocery shopping for shut-ins and operating the community garden.

Volunteering for RSVP
Anyone age 55 and over can join RSVP - and it is free! Volunteers do not need any special background, work experience, or education - all that is required is a desire to get involved and give back to the community.

Based on the volunteer's interests and talents, they are placed in rewarding volunteer positions in which they provide as little or as much volunteer service as they feel comfortable with. Volunteers can provide service on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis at one or more of our volunteer stations. In addition, RSVP provides training when needed, supplemental insurance for our volunteers, and invitations to recognition events.
