Street Closing/Blocking Right-of-Way Requirements:
Requests should be made a minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the closure.
A $500.00 surcharge will be added if submitted less than 2 weeks from date of work.
All street closings shall be made with barricades provided by the contractor. Vehicles or equipment parked crosswise in the street will not be allowed.
The individual named above is responsible for setting up and taking down barricades.
Access for emergency vehicles must be kept open.
A minimum of $500.00 bond is required for digging in the right-of-way and a minimum of $1,500.00 bond is required for digging in the street (per dig). Please check with the Public Works Director before work begins.
If the undersigned applicant fails to adhere to this request, they shall be in violation of city code and could face the possibility of penalties or citations.
Any buried cables/fiber optics may need to be repositioned in the future.
$25.00 to dig in right-of-way
$50.00 to dig in any street
UNCOUPLED TRAILER FEE:
$20.00 per month
UNDERGROUND UTILITY FEE:
$250.00 per block
ROW Permits can be emailed to the Public Works Director. You may also complete a permit request at City Hall, 811 Avenue E.
