[ARCHIVED] WATER SHUT OFF DUE TO VALVE REPLACEMENT


The City of Fort Madison has determined that to prepare for the upcoming reservoir rehabilitation, a new valve will need to be installed. This project is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, WEATHER PERMITTING. From 8:00 A.M. to approximately 1:00 P.M., water will be shut off in the following areas:

·         Old Denmark Hill Top

·         Old Denmark Road

·         Old Denmark Hill

·         100 Block of 8th Street

·         100 Block of 7th Street

·         Avenue C from 8th Street to 4th Street

·         Skyline Drive

·         Louis Street

·         Ridgewood Drive

·         Timberlane Drive

·         Westwood Drive

·         303rd and 302nd Avenue North of the water tower to Airport Road

·         This includes the Rathbun connection at Airport Road.

If this project is postponed due to weather, it will take place the next day.

Please be prepared and plan accordingly.
