Interested persons must fill out an application. Applications can be found at www.fortmadison-ia.com or through the City Clerk’s office at 811 Avenue E. Completed applications should be submitted to the City Clerk’s office during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. These are uncompensated positions. All applications are subject to State of Iowa open records laws.
Members are needed for the following boards and commissions: Airport, Civil Service, Historic Preservation, Old Fort, Parks, Tourism, Revolving Loan Fund Review, Housing Authority and Port Authority.
