The Queen of the Mississippi will be the first ship from American Cruise Lines to dock at Fort Madison on Tuesday, August 6. She will arrive around 8:00 am with 160-200 passengers.
According to city tourism director, Jean Peiton, "Members of the City Band and people from the Old Fort will be there, and the Mexican Fiesta Dancers will perform."
There will be a ribbon cutting with Mayor Brad Randolph and the ship's Captain at 8:30 at the pier by the pavilion.
