Chidlren's activities "FREE". Create a craft, learn an Indian dance, play organized games, visit a tee-pee, see traditional Indian dancers and drummers, feed Dr. Kaiser's "Feathered Friends" (eagles, hawks, owls), sample Indian Fry Bread ($3.00), leardn about Chief Black Hawk, see demonstrations of American Indian arts, arrowheads, headresses and more! Atten an historic event in Old Settlers Park- the dedication of a monument to honor Chief Black Hawk and his role in the history of Lee County. Enjoy a "free" concert by RiverCity 6 at 5:30 pm.
Food served throughout the day in the Shelterhouse by the Old Settlers Association. Proceeds of the day will go to the continued beautification and maintenance of Old Settlers Park.
