I had the pleasure to meet Zoe Arz, a foreign exchange student from Aachen, Germany. She has spent the last semester at Fort Madison High School. She is the granddaughter of the former Mayor of Prum Germany, who visited Ft. Madison with his wife in 1999. Prum is our Sister City. When deciding where to go to school, her grandparents recommended Ft. Madison! Pictured with Zoe and myself is Todd Shields who was stationed near Prum while in the Service. Todd played a part in Prum becoming our Sister City. Hopefully, we will have visitors from Prum this fall.
