What are the SU (Stormwater Utility Fee) and the IW (Integrated Waste Service Fee)?
The Stormwater Utility Fee is a fee collected by the city for the routine maintenance and repair of storm sewers, in addition, it also covers the expense of sewer replacement in the event of an emergency (i.e. sewer collapse, etc.).

The Integrated Waste Service Fee is a fee paid to the Great River Regional Waste Authority for having the landfill in Lee County.

All communities in the county are assessed this fee. For further information call the GRRWA at (319) 372-6140.
